In his infinite curiosity and fascination, Steve decided to design a space-ship to reach the "winged ones" he has been dreaming about. It simply started out as sketch in his book, but then when it came to create this masterpiece, he had no way to go about it. Then he heard of the Minecraft Planitia Shipyards that designed and built some of the fastet ships in the galaxy, so he went to them with his idea. After reviewing the design, the shipyard made some modifications, and what came from that was the USS Revelation. The Revelation is a Notch class vessel and this can match any speed of the larger ships made. The hyper-speed drives are the latest and fasted engines there are. Let's just hope Steve can find what he is looking for.
The builders at Minecraft Planitia would like to introduce the USS Revelation. This ship is most certainly different from our usual builds as it is not Star Trek related. The Revelation includes one habitable deck with the second deck being the cargo bay. It also comes with two hyper-speed drives located in the port and starboard structures of the ship. The hyper-impulse drives are redstone operated and can be turned on in the front of the engine room. They also include special sound effects (engine hum) when you activate the engine, so make sure to have your volume up to add to the overall feel!
Note! The schematic download includes only the ship, not the rest of the map. The World Save download includes both the World Save and the Schematic.
IMPORTANT: This ship was built using Plaff656's Sci-fi Mk.XVI texture pack, and captures the essence of this ship very well. Please use it while exploring the ship, the animated textures are great, and it just makes it a way better experience.

We don't expect to win this, due to the small size of the ship, but to simply experiment with some redstone and try something different from our usual Star Trek stuff.
