So, I was going through some of my old plots and came across these; nearly 2 years old. I thought it was very interesting to see how far ship-building (especially with conquest) has come since then; things like using cobwebs for rigging was pretty common back then, but would've been a sin today.
I do plan on making ships in the future; there are several old ones I have made, but it is still something I need practice in.
When I found these, I updated a lot of the textures (Conquest was probably around 4.x-- it is now 10.5), but relatively left a decent amount untouched. I left the rigging materials the same as before but adjusted them quite a bit, did minor hull changes, etc.. I guess you could call it Minecraft ship restoring :P
But in the end, still not up to the calibre I want to go with boats (partly because I tried to give it a reminiscent feel of the old-days while trying to keep it up to standard to today). I can assure in the future I will go farther than this.
These boats can now be found in the ravand Architect World, to the south of the spawn island.
