• Totihue - a modern Chapel

My project is an adaptation of Gonzalo Mardones Viviani's adaptation.

This is my first publication and i hope that you will like it.

Short destricption of Viviani's project:
The shape of the silo is a recurring element in the Chilean landscape, so this particular
silo has important symbolic significance for the Totihue community.
For this reason, architect Gonzalo Mardones Viviani, working on this project
with Fundación AIS Chile and the villagers, as part of his project tried to save the old structure,
while supplementing it with another new building element in the style of a traditional barn with a gable roof.
The new part of the church serves as a new chapel, and the renovated
silo performs various functions - from funeral assemblies to community meetings.
