A while ago, I became obsessed with creating the one perfect survival base. Ever since then, I have slowly been working my way towards ever smaller, more resource-efficient, truly minimalistic buildings. Whenever I play Minecraft now, that's what my mind keeps coming back to – building that newest iteration of the perfect survival base.
And even though I have long since come to terms with the fact that I'm probably never going to be done trying, this log cabin has come close enough to accomplishing my objective to deserve the tag "ultimate". I don't think I'll be able to make it any smaller than this without forgoing the essentials like a crafting table, furnace and bed. You probably don't even have to download it to recreate it, that's how simple it is to put together. Although you may still want to – the pictures don't come close to doing its cozy vibe justice.
