A recreation of the Twisted Treeline 3v3 map from League of Legends, fully functional using redstone, no mods required (although block protection is recommended), created by Podcrash.
After playing Hypixel's recreation of the 5v5 map, we always felt a remake of this map would also be good, so here it is!
THE GOAL
The goal for each team is to destroy the enemies nexus, this is done by destroying the towers in a lane, pushing up towards to nexus. Recommended for 6-10 players.
THE RULES
1) Set the server view-distance to 15. This is important as some of the redstone will not load and the game will not start.
2) Do not break any blocks, including grass and and torches, as these can be used to buy items in the shops.
HOW TO START THE GAME
When everyone has slept in a bes and it in the map at the spawn for each team, pull the lever, this will light up the lamp and tell the game that your team is ready to begin. When both teams have pulled their levers, the game will start, there may be a bit of lag due to the amount of redstone firing below.
HOW TO DESTROY A TOWER
There is a pressure plate located at the base of the tower, standing on this lowers the pistons at the front, allowing another player to shoot at the minecarts in the holes. When a minecart has been destroyed, the lamp above it turns on, when all the lights are on, the tower blows up.
Note, you will not be able to lower the pistons on a tower unless you've destroyed the one before it, for the inner tower you only need to destroy one lane of towers.
HOW TO DESTROY THE NEXUS
When the inner tower has been destroyed, the nexus defences are lowered, allowing for 2 easy shots at it to detonate it, the inner tower is your best defence for it as it requires 4 minecarts to be destroyed.
HOW TO DEFEND A TOWER
This only applies for the 4 lane towers, the inner tower does not possess this defence.
Each of the 4 towers has a button on the side, pressing this causes poison potions to be shot in font of the tower and on the pressure plate that lowers the defences. You don't want to stand in front of it for too long or the tower WILL kill you. This is also an effective way to get people off the plate so that the pistons protect the minecarts as that person will die from it if they stay standing on it.
HOW TO USE THE SHOPS
The currency for shops are just items, anything (including old weapons and armour) can be used to buy items. The amount of items required to buy something is shown on a sign. NOTE - Throw items in slowly or the redstone may not recognise everything you throw in.
HOW TO GET ITEMS
This is where the lanes and the jungle come in. In front of the first towers in lane, zombies spawn periodically there if players are nearby (you need to keep moving around so it knows you're there). Killing these zombies drop their usual items which can be used to buy stuff. These zombies continue to spawn if the towers are destroyed.
In the jungle there are several "creep camps" indicated by a button and a redstone lamp. If the lamp is on then that means you can activate it to spawn the mobs, if not, it's on cooldown as it have recently been used. Certain camps also give you a buff and have a longer cooldown. Most camps comprise of 3 mobs, usually skeletons, this is where you get the arrows for your infinity bows to destroy towers.
WHAT ARE THE JUNGLE BUFFS?
Just like in the original game, there are the following buffs: Red Buff, Green Buff, White Buff and Dragon Buff. Red buff spawn in the lower jungle and gives you bonus strength. Green and White spawn in 2 locations in the upper jungle together and you get one randomly out of the two, either increased move speed or health regen. Dragon buff is located in the centre of the upper jungle and gives you a load of other buffs, this is the strongest buff in the game, make sure the enemy team does not get it.
