Im here showing my process of building an entire city in the 17th century.
Im building the city of Alkmear also known as Alkmaar.
It is located in the North-west side of the Netherlands only 40km from Amsterdam.
while the main shape and building of the city are still intact, none of the city`s walls or defenses are left.
The reason why I started this project is because I wondered what it would feel like walking trought the city in the medieval times and just how it would look if everything was still intact.
I will update it probably once a month
Hope you enjoy what I build.

The city is growing and there is noticeable progress.
What I've added:
A little cheese market
Three blocks of houses
More trees
Another drawbridge
My progress is pretty slow mainly because i have to convert every house from google maps too minecraft.
