How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

=== The 1.9 Challenge ===

Almost one week after the 1.9 release and 8 months of snapshots, have you had the time to know what's new? the crafts? the mobs? the elytra ? ...

Come test all in this map: The 1.9 Challenge. For this, there will be 3 parts:
  1. The new blocks, items and crafts,
  2. The elytra,
  3. And the new Shulkers in the End Arena
At the end, kill the EnderDragon to win!


In progress;
  1. Kinematics to kill EnderDragon
  2. Add new arrows

Please play in release 1.9! (not a snapshot)
This map doesn't support multiplayer!

If the development of this map is 90%, it is because you can give your ideas, improvements, additions ...
Like kinematics or tests. Post it all in the comments!

I found a major bug in the shulker arena place, because of the way it's designed the shulkers can teleport to the outside of the arena making it impossible to beat without going into creative mode and breaking out of the arena. I would suggest having a command block restrain the shulkers inside the arena by teleporting them back in if they aren't in a certain radius. I think this could be done with a repeating testfor command hooked up to a conditional chain command block that teleports them to the centre of the arena.

Ok, thank you, but you have just to break the spawner on the top of the bedrock tower, but I'm going to fix that.

I did break the spawner, but no text popped up. It's possible that there is some missing redstone or error in the command it happens to the best of us :D

ah yes, it's that I had sent the map I had finished. If you want to finish the map, you can type this command to simulate the broken spawner : /setblock -43 5 -9 minecraft:redstone_block

(sorry for bugs, it's my first map :))

Ah yes, that would do it. I highly recommend making a debug reset system that removes and places all blocks to their original state.
