This is my 1:1 scale reconstructions of the Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens. This one of the most unique greek/roman temples as it is a Greek temple design with Roman styling. The reason for this is the temples construction took over 600 years due to wars and Athenian politics with it finally being finished by the romans under emperor Hadrian in the year 131 A.D. This temple was one of the largest ever built in Athens being 41m x 108m it was so large that the greeks saw building in that scale as blasphemous.and refused to continue building it after Athens became a democracy.
Because theres Absolutely no references for the interior i had to completely speculate and it became more colorful than i originally intended after seeing the temple interiors in assassins creed oydssey, where you can actually see the beginning of its construction.
this is also only the second time 2 builds have been released in one day since the renders just happened to finish for both builds today.
Please enjoy and hope it inspires some more greek and roman builds, you can use it for anything you want just give me credit for building it
