This is my rendition of the house from the "Tales from the Crypt" series that ran from 1989 to 1996 on HBO then dumbed down for standard TV.. I loved this series, it has the kind of dark humor I enjoy. The keeper dude always made me laugh, and want to eat a sandwich, he's a little on the slim side. I remember in the the 90's I would see an animatronic version of the crypt keeper in the mall and thought it was sooo cool. But not the $1000 cool they wanted for it! It is funny because now you can buy something very similar for 100 bucks or so. I left the inside unfinished for now, as it will take considerable time to complete such a huge interior, and source material for making it like the original is not much, so the rest will have to come from my imagination to fill the mansion. And as for the house as it is, the model used for the show only has two visible facades, so I replicated what I could see and dreamed up the rest myself.
