This is my SSTO VTOL Spaceplane. Also known as the Single Stage to Orbit Vertical Takeoff and Landing Spaceplane. It is a hypothetical spacecraft that I came up with while reading about the history of rockets and other spacecraft. The purpose of a VTOL is to quickly land and takeoff from various areas without the usage of a runway thus making it very mobile. The purpose of a SSTO is to get a spacecraft into orbit around a planet in a single stage. Spaceplanes are able to fly in space as well as in atmospheres. This SSTO VTOL Spaceplane is what I Imagine the future of space exploration to be like. The Spacecraft is a mobile laboratory complete with living quarters, a laboratory, a cockpit, a cargo bay and more. It is 75 blocks long, 67 blocks wide, 26 blocks high and was built over the course of seven hours. I must say that this spacecraft is heavily inspired by the Valkyrie Shuttles from the movie Avatar. Their work inspired me to build this SSTO VTOL Spaceplane.
