Hey people! Welcome back to another post on my page!
  • I got some projects I'm doing in my spare time
  • This was a FREE build!I'm thoroughly Impressed with how this spawn came out! I got to use different painting techniques with Voxel Sniper, and World Edit. AND NOW... THE PROGRESS!This spawn entirely took two days to complete. The first day was getting down the desired shape for my Island by using Voxel Sniper to shape the island with Ball Brush & Blend Ball. Forming the Island took about thirty minutes until I was satisfied with the shape. I decided to add two big boulders on the sides to add touch to the island instead of it being flat on top. Now, I was ready to color the terrain! I used a pretty simple grey pallet, nothing serious, but it turned out.. so nice.... ^-^... ANYWAYS! The dirt texture I just decided upon Spruce Planks, because I wasn't going to go in depth with the dirt style, knowing the grass is right next to it. So there is a subtle touch. The grass was a 3 color from dark to light (going towards center). After I had painted the last part of my terrain, it was done. I am so grateful that Plutouthere has Tree packs, because that it my only weakness. I do credit where it is due, and I appreciate everything these packs have done for me (linked below). On the second day of work, I completed the spawn point, as i wanted to do simple, I chose to do a small tower, using thick structure. It was pretty easy to make the spawn point. The little stone areas at the bottom of the stair case were to fill up the terrain with something instead of being plain flat. On top of the platforms, I added simple fillers to make the area pop, and have life. Storage Boxes, Book shelves, Melon stacks, etc... At this point, it wasn't enough, so I ended up building Hot Air Balloons around the sky (Owner wanted all blue). I also added a little launchpad for the Hot Air Balloon itself to fill in the emptiness on the back side of the island, along with a little swing, for a nice touch. After all was complete, I used Voxel Sniper to make clouds, and I was done! I hope you guys enjoyed reading this. I have another map coming out soon that I will be publishing to Planet Minecraft.
