So I started to dive a bit into ancient egyptian architecture and wanted to try reconstructing some of the things I read about starting with something simple.
So here is Mastaba S3503 also known as Saqqara Tomb No. 3503. It was built around 3000 BC as a tomb for an unknown occupant and was located at the Saqqara necropolis , the very same place where over 300 years later the first pyramid would be erected.

The main structure of Mastaba S3503 measured 42 metres in lenght and 16 metres in width and consisted of 23 chambers. Below the ground level was a large burial chamber and four side chambers. The buildings exterior was decorated with a palace facade with several niches.
Arranged around the main structure layed 20 subsidiary tombs.



Now I would like to add that neither do I know too much about the architecture of ancient egypt yet nor did I use any sources besides pictures and wikipedia so please take my interpretation of the building with a grain of salt because most likely it is not an accurate recontruction.
