Hi there!
Building stuff with redstone is fun, but sonetimes you might need a few things that aren't yet implemented in the game.
That's why I've created the Redstone expansion! It adds 13 new blocks, you can use for your contraptions.
How to install it:
1. Download the file "redstoneextension.zip"
2. Extract the folder from it (with all files in it)
3. Go to your world-folder/data/functions and put the folder in there
4. In Minecraft: enter /reload and /gamerule gameLoopFunction redstoneextension:main
5. To get the items enter /scoreboard players tag @s add logregive
That's it!
Have fun using it and leave a diamond or a comment for more creative content!

It has a lot of new features. I hope it is useful to you!
If you use it, plaese put some credits to me, but I'm really happy that I can help you in some way! ;-)
Hi again! Did you end up using it?
I rememered your comment because I am currently working on a second version of it
I had originally thought it would help me with my doors, 'cause the way some of them are laid out made it a real pain to fit the redstone circuitry inside the walls without overlapping/interfering with the ones on either side.
Then I started learning how to use command blocks to detect players in specific areas, which led to doors that open without pressure switches, which ultimately led to completely wireless automatic doors!
Who knows, though? I may still find some use for it (or version 2). Possibly for puzzles or traps in my Zelda project. :)
I now finished the version 2.0: https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/redexp2/
Hope it helps you!
