Made on my friends server.
Basically, I built my biggest redstone device to date, a 9-segment number display connected to a 4-bit binary counter powered by a 19-clock. In simpler terms, the display counts upto 15, resets, then does it again, and again, and again.
However, my friend didn't like the look of it, fair enough, it's a survival server, so he said there were 3 options, delete it, build round it, or ban me. So, 2 options, I chose to build around it. Looking back, I think it got a git out of hand, this is the biggest thing I've built, no part of it is undetailed, each floor in the clock tower has something in it, and all the empty space has been used up.
So, without further ado, I present Ormegalis Academy or Redstone, named after Zeranny's station he made on Skullcandy's server, for the reason that it was the last big redstone thing I helped with :)
So, why is it an academy? Well, all the blank space has been filled with every logic gates that I deem useful, with an explanation of each one as well as the very basics or redstone.
The "beginner" section is on the ground floor next to the counter and covers: Redstone basics, NOT gates, NOTNOT gates, AND gates, OR gates and XOR gates as well as clocks and pulsars.
The "advanced" section is based in the clock tower and covers the RS/NOR latch and the T Flip-Flop.
And to top it all off, I stuck in a double helix of lava and water in the lobby :)
Blimey, that was a mouth full...
P.S I'll add more pictures later, he deliberately turned off the server when I was taking pictures :P

anyhow, nice job.
nice job tho...
Besides, its not JUST an 8-segment display, it shows all the number and cycles through them by itself too :)
Another cool thing you could do is to replace the clock-face of the tower (It looks great though) with the number display. Making it a digital clock tower. :D Don't know if it'd fit though.
