Hi there! I am a university student (University of Amsterdam, Netherlands) and I am doing a research involving games! Serious games to be more specific. Serious games are type of games with a primary goal other than entertainment. Serious games are applied to other problem spaces, such as: education, revalidation, marketing purposes, and so on. I want to see how game mechanics influences the player’s understanding of the gameplay in serious games.

In this world, you are trapped in an underground prison! To escape this prison you need to solve simple puzzles based on math. Each room will have numbers hidden. You need to find these numbers to figure out the passcode. To figure out the passcode, you must apply a method called “digital root”. The basic idea is that you keep adding the numbers until you are left with a single digit. But you will figure this out in the game. The passcode is used to open chests which contain items that will aid you in your epic escape!
