This is a 1:1 reconstruction of the Roman fort near today's Nersingen in southern Germany.
The fort was one of the early fortifications on the Danube and was only in use for a short time in the first century AD. It was constructed relatively simply from wood and dirt and served only a handful of auxiliary soldiers as a base.
I used the german wikipedia as a source, especially this image of a model.
