Welcome to Neo Porto. Neo Porto is a sprawling metropolis located in what was once known as San Diego. After rapid expansion in the 21st century, it had grown to be one of the largest cities in the world by 2153. The city is a dystopia, where corporate control and a police state reign supreme.
The city is dominated by two powerful conglomerates, the Neo Porto Corporation and the Global Business Alliance. The Neo Porto Corporation is a massive mega-corp that controls the city’s infrastructure, utilities and transportation networks, while the Global Business Alliance is a powerful banking and financial institution that holds a monopoly on the local economy.
The city is a cyberpunk paradise, where the lines between technology and humanity are blurred. Advanced robotics and artificial intelligence are commonplace, and the city's citizens are constantly under surveillance. The streets are filled with holograms and neon lights, and the skyline is dominated by the towering skyscrapers of the mega-corporations.
The citizens of Neo Porto are kept in line through a combination of economic incentive and police state tactics. Those who resist the corporate control risk being arrested and imprisoned, or worse. The city is a dark and dangerous place, where the powerful few have all the power.
