The Moon Unit will keep track of the minecraft moon phase. Triggered by a daylight sensor, it increments through the phases and a display indicates which phase the moon will be in that evening. Once set, it should remain accurate indefinitely. It's reliable and simple, extremely compact and easily buildable in survival mode.
