Together their names form the word nothing(空白).
These two vessels, one a medium aircraft carrier(Sora) and the other a medium battleship(Shiro), were designed as a last ditch effort to save the Imperial Japanese Navy from total defeat. They were envisioned to act as the center of a single fast task force capable of striking quickly and effectively against encroaching American fleets. Both vessels share the same, multi-purpose hull design allowing one type to be converted to another if need be. Both ships measure 209m in length and sport impressive armament for their size. From the Shiro's set of ten 41cm/45 guns, to the over 72 aircraft of the Sora. They would have been capable of reaching 32 knots and could travel up to 10,000 nmi at a time.
*note all information stated is purely fictional, these ships were never conceptualized and are compleetly original designs*
