Hello and welcome back to another Aeroteam build! Continuing our streak of posting a different mode of transport each week, today’s build is an ICE 3. This writer’s knowledge of trains sucks, but fortunately, we have Quilex, who built this absolute multiple unit.
Built by Siemens, the ICE 3 entered service in 1999 with Deutsche Bahn, representing a substantial improvement over previous Intercity Express trains. It has its traction motors under the floor, so passengers can sit right behind the driver. They didn’t stop there either, with the ICE 3M coming out in 2006. This is what Quil chose to recreate in 1.5:1 scale.
