Hi guys !

Hotel Continental, building located in Pilsen, Czech republic.

The hotel was build in 1895, its second oldest hotel in Pilsen, first one is hotel Slovan - founded in 1893. History of itself is really interesting:
In WW2 during bombing by Allies one of bombs hit the hotel but it exploded in a few minutes later in suteren of hotel building. Explosion killed more than 70 people together with owner of hotel, the windows were broken, interiors completely damaged but walls were still standing. A few days after end of war the american soldiers took it as their 'main tent'. New owner - the wife of killed owner, take care of the hotel untill it was confiscate by state after year 1948 - communits took control over whole country. Nowadays the hotel is again owned by the same family so its kinda family business.
There were accomodate even famous persons like:

• Marlene Dietrich
• John Malkovich and Gerard Depardieu during filming of Les Miserables
• Ernest Hemingway
• Ernest Harmon and John H. Hinds - Generals of american soldiers who took hotel in the end of WW2 and use it as their headquarters
• Sonja Henie

I built it in my city of Capitol - The Hunger Games inspired city.
