In my attempt to start a new redstone series I aim to create Death Machines or Torture Machines that you can freely add to your maps. In this one I've created a high speed machine gun that fires fireballs.
Over all the dispensers, 189 fireballs are shot each second.

The challenge with this contraption was the length and the repeated quick pulses that the rapid pulsar emitted. I used a simple design for the rapid pulsar that requires minimal redstone that sends a pulse onto three levels of dispensers.
I made the redstone split up and down by using a Glowstone block which lets the redstone pass through on both sides. When the pulsar is powered, it doesn't pulse (hence the torch on the back of the lever) but when the lever is toggled and the torch switches off, the pulsar starts pulsin' away.
A simplistic design for the building, two sections. One for the player to observe whilst the other houses the area where the fireballs are shot.
