With the release of Realms in a number of countries I decided to make the "Dash of Doom" minigame available for everyone to play, not just the owners of realm accounts.
This is optimised for minecraft 1.7 and will be update for 1.8 when we have a 1.8 pre-release snapshot. Certain features will not work in snapshots.
The Game:
You have a Timer that counts off the seconds till you die slowdown and you will die.
The further you run without dying the higher your score
1-16 player multiplayer.
You come to compete for fame and glory, but you will die.
If the timer runs out, you will die..
If you fall off the track, you will die.
If you fall in the lava, you will die.
No matter what, in the end, you will die.
The question is just how long can you run before death catches up?
Go to the shop to spend you coins and to start your run.
Good luck, you will need it.

A sprint map with a technical twist; don't slow down, or you die! Run acros crumbling bridges and through twisting tunnels to max out your high score. This map is one of the first available to Minecraft Realms users. Race against your friends! I did feel like some of the bridges could be a bit wider; let the player really get the feeling of speed and then narrow back down. Also, it can be a bit tricky to maintain your speed with all of the slabs, and a few times I kinda felt like I was taking damage outside of my control.
