U.S.S. Lovell NCC-470
The Daedalus-class was one of the earliest starship class in Starfleet. Unlike most designs, the Daedalus-class features a spherical-shaped primary hull. Due to its small profile, the class is suitable for secondary mission and support roles. The class entered service in the 2140s and served during the Earth-Romulan War. From the 2190s to the 2200s the whole class is decommissioned in favor of newer designs.
In the aftermath of the Federation-Klingon War of 2256-2257, Starfleet Command decides to bring back a few Daedalus-class starships into service to reinforce the fleet after the heavy losses suffered during the said conflict. Around 2265, vessels U.S.S. Lovell, U.S.S. Masao, U.S.S. Zander, USS Carolina, USS Demeter, and USS Zheng He re-entered service in Starfleet.
Starfleet's revival of the Daedalus-class includes refit of the ships to current Starfleet standards and making it suitable in using the latest Starfleet technology. Despite this, Starfleet will only use this class for a small period of time and will be decommissioned afterwards.

This is part of my "Project Starfleet 2265" where I build mid-23rd Century Starfleet Ships from across different Star Trek media, from Canon to Non-canon Universe. All the schematics of this project will be free for download. Note that the schematic can only be used if you have LITEMATICA. I hope you will like this build.

- Neck to Secondary Hull Overall Length: 85 blocks long
- Nacelle: 11 blocks high and wide, and 81 blocks long.
- Overall Length: 140 blocks long.

- Design: Daedalus-class by Sven1310 on DeviantArt.
- Size: The original length of the Daedalus-class is 105 meters although I agree with the others that 105 meters is unlikely for a starship with a crew of 229. So I used the size shown on Ex Astris Scientia's Starship Database which is 140 meters.
