NOTE: You need to be in at least snapshot 14w19a, or in version 1.8 for this to work
The vanilla Custom commands system is really useful for:
- Vanilla servers, who want to give certain people access to an limited number of commands
- Servers and Clients who want to have shortcuts for copying of filling an area
- People who want to make teleport commands (like warping)
The system can be configured to give a group of people abilities (just like ranks), and give newbies (for example) no commands at all. It is a small system which can have an nearly infinite number of commands, limited by the size of the spawn chunks.
Hope this helped your server, Leave your feedback in the comment section down below!

Setup / How to
- Follow the video for building instuctions, OR, download the mcedit schematic
- Make sure you build it in the spawn chunks (or change them using the /setworldspawn command)
- Make 2 scoreboard objectives
> [objective name1] dummy (called "player" in video)
- this will separate the commands from eachother (so you wont use all of them at once)
> [objective name2] dummy (called "op" in the video)
- will determine if a player can use a command
- build up for more permission:
- 1 gets few commands, 2 gets more etc.
