Construction began in 62BC with nothing but palisade walls and small mud houses in desperation to house the general populace arriving from Italy to Terra. By 55BC, the Senate recognised the strategic value of Primum, upping the funding to construct a well defended dock, stone walls and a Temple for Mars - the God of War. Work began the year after. By the common year of 27BC, the walls, dock, temple and various structures stand proud. The populace has since been relocated throughout the land to various cities and encampments, allowing the military to occupy Primum and fend off any attacks approaching from the east with ease.
Primum is defended with a Centuria and Cohorts surrounding the local area, four Briremes, two Unireme and catapults surrounding the docks. In addition, Primum is a small military occupied town, making it incredibly easy to defend. 10 towers dot the perimeter, making checkpoints between each segment of wall; 14 including the gatehouses. The gatehouses contain murder holes, multiple levels within each tower and a barricaded gate, making sieges and oncoming hostiles a breeze to slaughter.
The buildings in Primum are solely used to house resources, men and anyone of importance. With multiple Insulaes dotting the town, a Domus and Temple, there is a lot of room for holding resources and manpower.
Primum is governed by Senator ANTONIUS OPOTEUS.
