This is a schematic pack of 17 Fretwork patterns that are inspired by Project 1845 and other community projects. They are not 1:1 scale and can be used for building walls that could otherwise be blank. If used with the Authentic Chinese texture pack then the fretwork will be in blues and greens (as seen by the screenshots of all 17)
Downloading The Pack
To download the schematic pack, click the "Minecraft World Save" link above. This will download a zip file containing all 17 schematic files from our main file repository in sourceforge.
What Is Fretwork?
Fretwork is an interlaced decorative design that is either carved in low relief on a solid background, or cut out with a fretsaw, coping saw, jigsaw or scroll saw. Most fretwork patterns are geometric in design. The term is also used for tracery on glazed windows and doors. Fretwork is also used to adorn/decorate architecture, where specific elements of decor are named according to their use. e.g. eave bracket, gable fretwork, baluster fretwork.
Can I See Them Without Downloading Them?
Not yet, They are located inside the Project 1845's Builders Institute that has over 1000 examples of design elements, from water wells, to trees to roofing and so much more. I will post here an ip address when the new 1845 server is up and running. If you want to keep updated easily, check out our social media links in the banner above or click the banner below for more information about the content in the institute.
