Today, I have just finnished building the 747-400 with Qatar Airways livery on a 2 to 1 scale, assuming one block is one meter. The 747 is a large quad engine double deck passenger aircraft produced my The Boeing Company.
The hardest part was trying to fit my redstone into the two deck format of the 747, this was hard because of the fact that I had to fit redstone between the floors, which seemed very hard. Exterior Features:
- There are 4 exits on the upperdeck, and 10 on the lowerdeck, total of 14.
- The wing sweep angle is 36, just like the real aircraft
- All lights are automated, refer to redstone features section.
Redstone Features:
- Automatic (light sensor) Navigation, anti collision, interior lighting, wing, and baggage compartment lights.
- white scrobe lights beneath the aircraft
- Off lever of the Auto-lighting system (for night time)
- On lever of the Auto-lighting system (for day time)
- All redstone control are in the flightdeck.
Interior Features:
- The overhead baggage compartments are represented by slabs
- seats are built to the closest I could do to the real Qatatr airways aircrafts
- Double aisle on the lowerdeck, and single aisle on the upperdeck
- All Emergency Exits are labeled
- All business class and first class seats have personal inflight entertainment systems while economy has one every sector and aisle, other than section 4, which has 2 (I think, I put screens where ever a seat couldn't see the next one.)
- There are 4 galleys, and 7 lavatories.
