Hey guys,

As part of my work on designing advanced Redstone gaming technology..

Additional Notes

Redstone computers can be difficult and time consuming to build or modify.

Simulation as a tool allows one to explore the giant landscape of possible hardware, and find the devices which are worth building.

Hey silver,

I have been thinking about this.

And your right; binary floating point representation is not worth-while in red-stone :'(

You would instead use bit-shifting to greatly divide an abstracted integer representing the float.

I am also working on implementing this; but it doesn't run well on my X1000 sim, and i am reluctant to use the young J400 IDE.

Thats exactly right; currently, no minecraft computer is powerfull enough to execute the program interactively.

however the program will work great on your real computer ( give it a whirl ).

I made it look like torches to avoid being disappointed by the pixel fidelity or resolution in any future Minecraft-Redstone implementation.
