An original design this time \o/

The scarred piglin warrior is a one-of-a-kind member of the piglin species, and an even stronger foe than the piglin brute. He comes prepared for battle with various items: First, the standard armguard enhanced by shoulder armor. Second, the warrior is wearing a pair of strider legs as leg armor, which enable him to walk through lava unharmed. And third, he equips a long chain to his trusty axe to make it a throwable weapon (similar to tridents), making him proficient in both close-up and ranged combat. His skills are honored with the special reward of golden tusks.

Update: Belt fix.

On Bedrock, I straight up added this to my personal pack, replacing the Brutes, and having the vanilla brute texture replace the normal "melee unit" piglins, with the "ranged unit" keeping their default appearance.

I'm freakin' learning how to code it's great

Do you know by chance how to actually add this to minecraft? Since it's a single skin do I just make a new resource pack for it?

Either that, or you could try adding it to an existing resourcepack you already use (preferably one that doesn't change piglin (brute) textures). In either case, for regular piglin (brute) replacement, the texture file with the corresponding name goes into .minecraft/resourcepacks/<resourcepackname>/assets/minecraft/textures/entity/piglin. In order to actually add a skin on top of already existing ones, a mod is needed. I'm only familiar with OptiFine; if you're using that, add the skin you like as "piglin2"/"piglin_brute2" (or higher number if more skins are present) into the folder .minecraft/resourcepacks/<resourcepackname>/assets/minecraft/optifine/mob/piglin or .minecraft/resourcepacks/<resourcepackname</assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entity/piglin (not sure of the difference). There's some more options in that case but that should be the basics. Hope it helps.
