After countless squads, platoons, and units of Pillagers were slain by the heroes of the villagers, they employed a special task force unit called Eradicators.

This unit of soldiers were trained relentlessly for one task, that task is to eliminate the heroes and any that stand in their way. Rigorous physical exercise, multiple sessions of melee axe combat, and studies of unit tactics have employed these fighters to be efficient and deadly.

Amongst the training they have been enlightened with, they are also equipped with a unique set of iron armor designed to instill fear while also providing protection, and they are given a drug that induces adrenaline and rage simultaneously, causing their eyes to glow red whilst having no fear and high pain tolerance.
