Another cancelled axolotl prototype. I don't know why they didn't add a melanoid axolotl, but I think I know why this one was not added. They already had enough fantasy colors, and if anything more real axolotl colors should be the priority. It looks fairly decent. I think MAVM has a texture based on the same prototype. It looks okay enough, but misses the cleaner look of vanilla, and gets some of the details from the prototype wrong too. You be the judge, and tell me if I got any major details of the prototype version wrong.
