Hey everyone! I teased this a few days ago but I am happy to fully announce it. The next new pack to my collection is named Vanilla Redux. The pack is the classic vanilla feel and look.. but smooth. This pack is 128x, like the base of Default HD, however, it uses a drastically different approach to shading and detail. This gives the texture far more visual design and style than vanilla textures.

This is my own take and spin on vanilla textures. Keeping the style consistent but unique compared to other vanilla-like texture packs. This type of art design takes far longer than other packs but I feel the look speaks for itself. It is a work in progress like my other packs!

Like Default HD and Dramatic Skys, there will be a Demo/Alpha Version free to download that has a handful of blocks on Modrinth and Curse. The full version/beta will be on Patreon for Diamond and up. This pack takes far longer to make textures for (and way harder to be honest) so it will be for Diamond and up. Do not worry though, this will not take away from the progress on Dramatic Skys or Default HD. This is just an addition to everything else.

So yesterday ended the second half of 40 days of sketching. Did I succeed? No.
Do I really mind, not really as the first 20 days were the most important ones to me. I did notice some side effects during my holiday due to doing this.

Either way, going to wrap it up this(?) week or so in a blog and probably fill the non-sketching days in with photo's from my travels on location.

Hey everyone! The latest update (Beta 2.5.1a) that's Early Access for Emerald, Lapis, and Netherite is out now! With one new beautiful sky added to The End and some other small tweaks. This update also includes a hotfix to resolve some issues with fabric. If you're using 2.5a, I highly recommend you update to 2.5.1a.

In these preview images you can see an outlook of the sky and what it looks like. Rather than purple like the main End sky, it is a green nebula. Quite the contrast to the purple End sky, but I am going to go crazy with diversity on these!

I really hope you guys enjoyed this little preview as I work on the pack and these new End skies! Any feedback is highly appreciated and will be taken into account with these coming skies. I have a few ideas in mind but I don't want to spoil anything!

Well, that's day 20 of 40 days of sketching. Quite odd, on one hand it's not a lot of days but in another way while looking through them. A lot has happend. in terms of progress.

Either way, I am looking forward for the next 20 days to sketch on location. Quite different compared to sketching from google streetview. The only downside? possible bad weather & roughly 20~24 hours of traveling needed from closing the front door behind me, all the way to my first place to stay. But that's something for tomorrow morning.

Hey everyone! The latest update (Beta 2.4) is out now for Gold and up! This is honestly a massive update. Huge overhaul of a ton of things, tweaks to others, new skies, and more! Once again, thank you so much to UsernameGeri for such an amazing set of tweaks, updates, etc. They are an amazing asset to this community and I am forever grateful to them!

Let's get into the changelog:
- Complete overhaul of config files, fixing all bugs and inconsistencies

- Full feature pairity between OptiFine and FabricSkyboxes

- Fixed all of the stretched and wonky textures

- Updated Moon texture to make the dark side of it slightly visible

- Sunrises will now have the appropriate skyboxes

- Added sunflare to sunsets and sunrises

- Sunsets and sunrises in the textures will now properly line up with the in-game sun

- Stars will no longer be visible below the horizon line

- Stars will no longer be visible through the high altitude clouds

- Stars will no longer be visible through the Moon

- Stars will now be visible at max build height

- Color correction to high altitude night time sky, to make it appear more night-time-ish

As you can see, a ton, and I mean A TON of fixes. Anything from small seams, odd texture stretches, to texture axis positions. Sunrises and sunsets now have proper positioning for where the sun will be when it rises and sets, tweaks to the stars to be more realistic, etc. Not to mention a complete config and directory overhaul.
