  I do sometimes feel that rendering my builds kind of kills the engagement on them, because they don't immediately read as a Minecraft build and you can't always really see the details. But...

  O' great PMC what is your wisdom:
  
  I liked my old skin for being a considerable upgrade from the one prior, but I always felt like it was a little over detailed and almost moody?
  I'm pretty happy with how the new re-shade looks and I feel like it fits in the modern style of MC skins more, but it's definitely quite a stylistic shift.
  
  So please give opinions/critiques/tips 🙏I'm a bit torn.

  in general i like the remake more, the colors are a lot better and feel more lively imo. i especially like what you did with the gray armor. the green stripe running down the skin's right side is also a nice touch.
  
  however i really do like the moodiness that the original has, but i agree that it does feel a bit over detailed and kinda messy in places (the arm with green shoulder pad as an example)

  The lighting on the left image looks natural, while the right image definitely looks simpler and with a different hue. I think you made exactly what you wanted in the newer version: something more soft, and less dark in terms of mood.

  I've been working with the Minecraft Championship texture pack for reasons and just realized that the lime and red sandstone textures are the exact color of the Duolingo bird.

  I don't know if a year technically counts as a long time ago, but The Treasury of Petra was the build that really set my current "style"
  The first build I ever rendered, and it was the first one that I built specifically just to be a fun and aesthetic diorama. Not to be realistic and part of a full map.
  
  Also on that topic: I don't think I ever shared this here but I tested making a little wallpaper type render with it a few months back. I thought turned out pretty cool!

  I went through a faze of being absolutely terrified of windows of all things as a kid. I would scare myself imaging what would happen if a face or something suddenly appeared through them.

  PMC! Soooo, I have good news and "bad" news!
  
  Good news, the Creator Analytics update is ready but the bad news is the timing isn't right to launch. I have some IRL things happening that require my undivided attention. All good things though, so no worries there. It's just best to wait until things are settled so that I can return the same attention to the update and you.
  
  Creator Analytics WILL release next month! It took longer than initially expected for a number of unexpected reasons but scope of work also grew in many directions for the best. There's always more to do after the launch but there's more than enough to be useful and fun now and into the foreseeable future and historical past interests. Always nice when things motivate you to go, go, go. Didn't help switching chart libraries last week but know it was the right decision for the short and long run.
  
  You'll see soon and I'm looking forward to having the proper time to respond to bugs and feature requests.
