      ohhh yeeessss I think I got the claw stylus worked out heheee

      touchscreens use electric signals for input, so in order to make this work, I need some kind of conductive material that touches both the screen and my skin. so what I’ve done is I drilled a small hole in the claw close to the tip, and stuck a brass brad through it. the head of the brad sits on the outside of the claw and acts as the stylus tip, and my finger presses against the brad’s tail thingy to provide the signal

      it. works. beautifully.

      the foil method I tried earlier worked, but inputs were inconsistent and it was hard to control where exactly the input went, since the screen contact surface was so large. this solves both of those problems. It looks a little ugly, but if I can find some brads that are made out of a more gray/silver metal like aluminum, it should be alright

      hehe I took one of the claws off the protogen model I’ve been using for fursuit parts, rescaled it a lil based off some loose measurements, and tossed it to the printer to run overnight

      It needs a bit of adjustment, mostly gotta make it a bit more narrow, but the overall size and shape is damn near perfect heheeehe. It doesn’t look all that interesting right now, I’ll show yall later when I got a full hand’s (paw’s?) worth
