  quick announcement abt my oc skins
  
  i honestly don't mind if you download them, edit them, turn them into your own ocs and whatnot
  
  if you plan to edit them make sure to credit me if you plan to post it, a link to my pmc profile would be fine!
  
  i just post my skins on here because its a fun hobby of mine and i like to share it with everyone. some of you guys really seem to enjoy it too!
  
  All i ask is if you're planning to turn my ocs into yours, please make them interesting and not exact copies of mine (if anything, change the name) ik i put personalities and stories in the descriptions of my skins, but that's also because it's a way to fill the empty awkward gap there (also it gives me an excuse to talk about my ocs without anybody asking)
  
  additionally, you all might have noticed how little i post from time to time. it's because i mainly post skins i have made entirely myself, or skins that i've edited that i'm able to find the original owners to. this is for 2 reasons:
  
  1) PMC's no-edited skins rule. i've read it and this is the main reason why. I'm not so sure how strict they are about this, let alone if anyone follows this rule. i'm just going to stay in my comfort zone until i know how things are done around here. Spoiler alert! i don't spend a lot of time on this site, so i've no clue on how people act and post on here.
  
  2) One of the editors i use, Minersneedcoolshoes, absolutely SUCKS with originality when it comes to parts. I mainly use it to put spliced skins together, but occasionally i dwindle to find other parts to see if they look good, or as a base. and seeing how a lot of the skins i make were months and months ago, finding the original creator to those parts would be a hassle. I don't want to feel like i'm taking things and not giving respective credit, but i don't have enough time to go and find them to properly credit them. if i post skins with unknown sourced parts, the most i'll do is link the page i got it from. In general i'll do the silly little "credits to owners!", but i'll try to do more than just that, since it doesn't really help.
  
  Also, as a note, i'm planning to post more about said oc's, aswell as art, etc! its a big scary thing but my main plan is to post a big forum post about my ocs, giving a rundown of them as well as the lore story i've been doing with my friends! its neat
  
  but yeah, tl;dr: you can use my oc skins for whatever as long as you properly credit/make it interesting, not posting a lot due to specifications, and i'm planning to post more about ocs and whatnot,

  For the no-edited skins rule, you can use parts from other skins only if the authors of them are credited (in the case of them being skins intended to be edited/used as bases) or if the skins aren't intended to be edited then you'll need to ask the author of the skin for permission. Stuff can be used without credit if the original creator says so but that doesn't usually happen and if you can find the original creator it's best to credit them anyway.
  
  Some of the stuff on Minersneedcoolshoes is intended to be used and edited but some of it might not be, I don't know how well that site is moderated.
  
  Generally it's best to make skins entirely yourself since that's the best way to grow your skills and avoid possible copyright issues.
