MMGplays came out with an original song on YouTube for his episodic, horror themed map, Fragile.
The song turned out really well and it adds an entire other layer to the map’s lore and story in ways that the map can’t show. I think it’s great to see someone willing to do something like this for a map. It works really well.
(And on another note, Fragile is probably just my favorite Minecraft map so far.)

One of my ideas for a challenge map was to build a 50x50 plain and just put a short, easy to make map, on it.
Turns out there's a lot you can fit on a 50x50 plain.
It took way longer than expected, but Old Town Square is ready for download!

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you left a group that you were the only member of?

Well me and my big bran decided to do just that yesterday, and I'm here to tell you the experience.

It did indeed let me do it. I was able to open the tab and leave the group as normal. Unfortunately, it didn't treat me as the founder anymore, so I couldn't make any changes to the group. Now, there was no one left in the group, meaning nobody else could be added and the group was just softlocked. Going to the members tab would just say "nothing to show". In the end, I had to open a private ticket addressing my mistake, to which they responded and fixed very quickly. And I want to make clear that this post is not meant to poke fun at the site's design! If anything, it's meant to poke fun at my own poor mistake so that no one else has to do it again.

Let me tell you the story of the shortest-lived sub I’ve ever gotten.

Upon entering the site just now, I received a notification that someone new subscribed to me. However, it was an alt account. I have a term where I don’t let people subscribe to me through more than one account unless it’s for a specific reason. But when I clicked on the account, I saw that both it and the main account had been shut down. Dead accounts aren’t allowed either, so I proceeded to remove both of them from my subscribers.
I don’t know how long the alt was subscribed to me before it was shut down, but it was at least thirty five minutes. That’s the record, I guess.

Having played a bunch of adventure maps, I feel like they’re starting to effect my game preferences as well.
I recently got Jurassic World: Aftermath on Switch during a sale, and I feel like the number of story driven, horror-type, puzzle maps, I’ve played contributed to that.

So, Minecraft’s next update got a release date…

To be honest, these updates happen so often, I’m kinda numb from any excitement towards them.

I made a forum asking why people like Minecraft Java so much, and pretty much everyone who answered started to use terms I don’t understand and mention features I’ve never heard of.

That might mean something.

It seems like since I make content for Planet Minecraft, everyone knows me as the “Minecraft person” and thinks I have full knowledge and interest in anything Minecraft related.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I just found out that Google just ported a cloud version of Cut the Rope to YouTube. And it’s not like a de-make or anything. It’s literally the entire game fully updated and playable through YouTube! Sorry if this wall post is a bit off topic, it’s just that this game made my entire seven-year-old life and I thought it was lost to time.

Never mind, the need is back. I'm wall posting again. Also, upon popular vote, I reverted the maps' thumbnails back to having custom logos.
