I don't see it as clickbait at all. The only thing I maybe could have emphasized more was the Google Trends graph showing the clear decline of Minecraft is getting ever steeper and how with every update they NEVER hit back to original peak popularity. Any future videos on this sort of topic we will try to do a better job at that but given the fickleness of YouTube viewers when you get into too much detail...viewers drop off. It's a tougher balance than one might think. Appreciate the honesty in your assessment! We can learn from this.

Yes it is that mob farm though the roof mechanics now have to be different due to the changes in Bedrock cave and surface spawn mechanics. And if I do see that happening I just add in magma cubes to the rim of the chute and that convinces them to get "unstuck".

Keep an eye out for Part 2 that has come out today :) For building a kingdom, the need for "farms" really don't come into play as you are mostly using wood and stone to construct vs crops, mob drops so there is little focus on that in the main steps. A Stone farm would be useful early on, but mining would be more important to be able to get all stone resources needed. A Mob farm (which is covered today in part 2 is super critical in order to be able to obtain XP and to be able to mend tools.



I like the idea about moving palette selection sooner.



The lighting in the water (since we will be doing a lot of work in the water) will be addressed in episode 3 as we will be talking about obtaining and making a conduit in that episode for that specific purpose.



Love the in depth comments you had! Thank you for taking the time to reach out with them too. It is all about sharing ideas and coming up with best approaches that work for helping others!

For some reason more tutorial style vids don't do well for us so it was more meant to be a Lets Play outlining the farms the viewers chose for all of us on Forever Bedrock to do and we happened to end up with the industrial bamboo farm. So I didn't put a lot of the build sequence into the vid. In hindsight maybe I should have thinking about your note here!


The area it is built in is our main spawn island so we have quite a few lightning rods scattered around the whole island to protect any of the wooden builds from lightning damage :) Thanks for the comment good questions/thoughts!

A much better render distance. Render distance on realms prevents any bedrock players from truly building large scale builds because they can only really be see in a copy of the world where the render can then be increased. Plus...flying out over the void with such a low render distance has killed me more times than I can count.

If you are looking for an Addon...try FoxyNoTail's "Chuck Loader" addon. It worked well before an update broke it but he is pretty good at trying to update the addons when they break. You can check it out on his website.

I liked Minecraft Live when they would actually sit down with the devs and go over the upcoming update features and how it came about. Way better and way more informative. This year it was more about Legends, Marketplace, Education edition and animations that depict the game that players will never see which I feel is a bit misleading to be honest. More than 2/3rds of the show were not about "Minecraft" or the update. Lame. Very lame.

EVERY player I have ever played with and myself included get a doggo(s). Name their doggo(s) and SIT them. NEVER bring them out on "adventures". Two reasons. They will die too easy. Which they still will even with "armor". I doubt we will be kitting the doggos out with Netherite from an Armadillo scute? Second reason no one brings dogs? Once you have Elytra almost impossible for them not to get "lost". Even without Elytra their AI is Sooooooo bad. They fall in water, ravines etc. all the time and will just die from that with armor on now. Early game....boats are something very useful and could have used a speed buff from the Penguins and been useful.

Thanks Colbie that is totally the reason for those videos :) They are meant to be longplays for chilling out and as a way of showing a lot of the behind the scenes things that have to be done on Forever Bedrock that don't make for good Let's Play content.



I am pretty tied up with Forever Bedrock from a content standpoint, but I would be open to discussing any idea you might have to work together. Let me know if you have some thoughts. Most of my time really is taken up with the ideas and interactions with the other Forever Bedrock creators but I would definitely listen and see if there is a way we can collab or something if you have some ideas. Thanks again for checking out our vid. Will take a look at your channel as well :)

The realm is not lore based nor do we have roles among the group...We like everyone to have the freedom to do what they want and find roles can sometimes inhibit that. I noticed your streams are Java...do you also play Bedrock? The realm is Bedrock. Also if you have Discord, and you are still interested we can talk more there.

Thanks for the reply, but all members are content creators and we are looking for people with more than a mild interest. If those things change for you feel free to let me know. Some realms setup with RPG themes to them where there are certain roles and that can be fun and that style has room for people of all sorts, but Forever Bedrock was setup for a specific purpose as a home for content creators to play and collab together in a survival context. If we were to bring in say builders or grinders it could change that dynamic. Thnx again and if your situation changes feel free to reach out. Take care.

Some thoughts I think many have already said but...

1) 100% TNT Drops
2) Nether Roof Building ability
3) Map Markers!

4) Banners on Shields

5) Limited F3 Function to at least see direction, chunk borders and biome

6) Hit Box visibility...I think that is a different F key in Java than F3

7)Achievements per world not account!!!



Those are some of the main ones I think of most often :)

Outside of Redstone items I would REALLY like to see Replay Mod incorporated into Bedrock with the Spectator mode as they develop it. That would be amazing to have.

I'd love to see a redstone "photo eye" to compliment the observer block. The photo eye could be used to see movement down an actual line of blocks instead of one particular block that it would sense. This would allow for a LOT of cool variations on farms, doors and other redstone devices :)

The reason for that is because we ALL have different audiences that watch our content and there are tons of new players coming into the game at all times. It's called Evergreen content...which is content that can help all players coming in to the game and content about things that do not change much so that you don't have videos out there of farms etc that no longer work correctly. Sorry you see it the way you do as some sort of negative. It does exactly what is described and will be helpful to many I am sure.

100% TNT DROPS!!!!



Tree farms are sooooo over complicated in Bedrock due to the lack of this mechanic. Unable to mine or tunnel with TNT without losing resources is also a complete drag :(

The main thing for all who DO play Bedrock is to go UPVOTE these parity issues at the Feedback site to show Mojang these are important to the player base. If the most votes something can get for an issue is a couple hundred or maybe a few thousand out of the literally MILLIONS of Bedrock players....they won't think any of these are a big deal. They will think everything is amazing.
