Help With Optifine Multiple Mob Textures
I have been trying to create a resource pack for personal use (and possibly experience for later usages), but I cannot seem to get Optifines custom texture system to work. I have watched multiple tutorials on this and it is hopefully getting somewhere which would make it easier.
Basically, this is a 1.20.1 texture pack, where all other features work, but not the multiple entities.
path is: pack name/assets/minecraft/optifine/mob/random/mob name
i don't think it's the properties file either. it is litterally just this:
skins.2=2
name.2=Lystrosaurus
the texture is called pig2 (i'm making a pig with a Lystrosaurus texture) and it's not just pigs, it's also dolphins, squids, phantoms, and others
if anyone can tell me what i'm doing wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.
