Where should I set the spawn for my new Oregon world? (read desc before voting)landscape
This is a scaled down version of the US State of Oregon. I have two ideas in mind but im not sure which one.
Western Oregon is much better for habitation. It has large trees and mountains. Good for farming too, especially in Willamette Valley. This is the part of Oregon most people live in and is usually what people think of when they think of Oregon. The land is covered in mountains and gigantic trees, except for Willamette Valley, which is a flat plain surrounded by the mountains
Eastern Oregon is a dry desert. It has some mountains too and those mountains have pine trees. Very few people live here in real life.
The reason I am considering this spawn is because it would require a new player to venture out west to find better land. Ressembling the Oregon Trail i guess you could say. It looks more Western or Cowboyish with it's canyons, plateaus, dry mountains, and deserts
The Western Oregon spawn is easier for surviving
The Eastern Oregon spawn is more adventurous
This world is roughly 4.6K wide and 2.9K tall
