With this datapack you can obtain Gyro's Steel Balls!
Inside the .zip file there is a folder called "SteelBall_datapack", that's the datapack.
The other folder is called "JoJo's Bizarre ResourcePack",
that's the required resource pack.
To craft a Steel Ball you will need:
(1) netherite ingot
(4) iron blocks
(1) slime ball
While holding a steel ball a progress bar will appear, this indicates the amount of spin energy
you have, to charge spin energy simply hold the right click button while holding a steel ball.
A fully charged steel ball will deal more damage, destroy leaves on its path and
has two more abilities (that can be activated by pressing SHIFT/Looking Down)
ABILITIES
if the steel ball hasn't hit a tree, pressing SHIFT/looking down will create an air vacuum that will refract the air around it, disorienting and slowing down nearby entities and players.
If the steel ball has hit a tree, pressing SHIFT/looking down will carve the log block, creating sharp splinters that will fly everywhere in an 8 block radius, dealing damage.
(don't get too close)
The last and most devastating technique can be used only when riding a horse while charging the spin bar. The spin bar can be charged up twice, once it's completely yellow you will hear a "pling" sound effect, drop the ball to summon the stand Ball Breaker, that will follow the steel ball on its trajectory and attach to any entity upon impact. an entity/player hit with
Ball Breaker will begin to spin around, unable to move.
In the meantime the stand will unleash a punch barrage
that deals a ton of damage and lasts around 5 seconds.
