This datapack adds a date and time system to minecraft. It makes it so clocks display the date when you hold them(Thou there is a few ways to display the date, it can be edited in the op menu). With default settings, 30 days make a month, 12 months make a year, and it displays the days of the week, and seasons(Thou does not add them). You can customize how long a year is as you wish.

You can also edit how long a day is. This effects the day/night cycle. For example make a day last 24 IRL hours, or make it last 5 seconds. That will not break sleeping, or the date system. It may cause jumps in the sun & moon thou.

The clocks also display the time. You can display the date in 3 ways, when you hold a clock, with trigger command, or it will give a chat message when a new day comes, telling you the date. All 3 you can enable/disable separately. I recommend just using the clocks and no others, as it gives clocks another use.



/trigger op_menu - To edit the settings of the datapack. Only works in creative mode, and you are a operator.





/trigger GetDate - Gives the date in chat, only works if enabled.


One last thing before i go, i designed this datapack with the mind that others would make addons for it. So inside the zip i include a detailed guide on the packs addon api. Addons can do things like, custom holidays, running commands based on the season, changing the way the date is displayed, and many many more things.
