With this datapack, a sitting wolf will protect a house most forms of griefing.
It's simple for casual players to use and is perfect for multiplayer.
Sitting wolves become immortal and will not attack players.
Technical stuff:
- Anyone can still open chests
- Only the wolf's owner can break or place blocks. All other players within 30 blocks are set to adventure mode.
- Creepers, tnt, tnt-minecarts, fireballs, end crystals, and wither skulls are removed within 40 blocks.
- Other players cannot sit dogs next to the owner's dog.
- To prevent trapping, players in adventure mode can leave the protected area by using /trigger escape set 1
- There is an in-game prompt explaining the above command

I tried adding it as a zip, and then a folder. (Yes I did unzip it the second time I did it to create a .zip of just the Beware of Dog folder under the MacOSX folder I didn't need.)
Do I need a plugin or something? All of my other Datapacks work fine on my vanilla server.
Is there any chance you could fix/update it or tell me if I did something wrong?
This seems like a really cool idea and it would be perfect for the private server I play with my friends on. :)
When you run /datapack list does it show up?
If not, here's an alternate link that might work better https://github.com/bacon2/beware_of_dog
