📝 About This Datapack

The wind blows snow all around you. You can't see, you start to freeze, the cozy campfire you built doesn't stay lit for long. The river you want to cross freezes below your feet, even that lake of lava over there starts to cool down.
You are only safe underground, in that shelter you built and in the scary depths of the nether...
Can you still beat minecraft?

Frost ❄️

Snow starts to fall all around you. It will layer up forever. Also, you can't see through the snow very well. Lava cools down, turning into magma, which turns into basalt. Water freezes to ice, which slowly turns into packed ice and blue ice. Candles, candle cakes, jack o lanterns, campfires and soul campfires won't burn long in the cold wind...

Effects 🌀

Staying in the blizzard for to long will slow you down. You can get up to Slowness III. In the end the blizzard is different - it will start to poison you after a while.

Mobs 😺

Skeletons don't exist anymore. Strays take over the world! Husks, can't survive the blizzard. Normal zombies will spawn instead. Only cave spiders can survive the blizzard. Normal spiders will be replaced by cave spiders. All villagers will turn into the snowy variant.
