Hi guys, Greytopher here with another blog. I know, I know, I haven't done one in a while. I've been doing other things, been busy with school, and here I am, with a blog about your subscription to other people. It's what makes you famous!

Your Subscription Makes Others Famous!

You want to know why I'm 'famous'? It's because I have a lot of subscribers. The more subscribers one person has, the more known they are. You usually respect/know someone more if they have 600 subscribers rather than someone who has 20 subscribers. They can see my content more because I'm recommended by my subscribers to their friends. All around Planet Minecraft, my stuff is known because my fanbase is hugely known. To get your stuff popular on PMC, you must develope a fanbase of your own.

In order to gain the right set of fans, first your projects have to have quality and meaning to them. They can't just be one colored skins, or blogs that say "look itz mai CoD montage!". They have to be the best and/or good content that that person likes to see. If they like what they see or read, then they subscribe because they want you to succeed in what you're doing.

Look at the most popular PMCers out there. Even Cyprezz, the site creator, doesn't fail to produce really good content. He has 2000 subscribers because 1) he's the site creator, but that shouldn't stop you and 2) because his content is actually good and interesting to look at. He makes the most prime example of quality work on PMC, since the site was made.

I just want to get this out but noone will subscribe to you if you beg. No one will subscribe to you if you're seen doing 'sub 4 sub'. Those actions are acts of wanting to get 'famous' not wanting to inspire others to make better content.

Subscribing Because He/She is Your Friend?

I myself have done this many times, and I can't say that others haven't either. I know a lot of people who have done it, and I absolutely subscribe out of pity. But, I should say, you shouldn't do this at all.

Subscribing because that person is your friend gives the false hope of them becoming 'famous'. They don't get any real subscribers because they don't post good content. They only post content for what they want, the desperity of becoming known.

If you want to become known so bad, you have to earn it. Telling your friends to sub to you doesn't make a difference. Telling your 10 subscribers (all of whom are your friends) to diamond your work is insane; you're not earning those diamonds. You want to know how REALLY crap things get on the popular reel? Well, that's what happens.

If you want to prevent this from ever happening, subscribe to people who deserve it. Not because you know them. It's a two way street, too. If they upload crap things, you have to see it and diamond it. They don't deserve a diamond for that. Why get it on the popular reel?

'Can we sub 4 sub?'

I don't know who the noob was that invented this sort of thing, but it's probably the most retarded thing I've ever seen. For those who don't know what 'sub 4 sub' is, it's when someone asks if they should subscribe to you only if you subscribe to them in return. Like most things, this is a two way street. Of course, you're earning yourself one more subscriber, but for what purpose? To have your subscription box spammed with stuff you don't like? Why pay that consiquence when all you should of said was no?

9 times out of 10, when I see people 'sub 4 sub', their content is complete crap. They are desperate to get subscribers for the sake of having them. They don't earn them, they don't want to produce better things for them, they only produce more things that only take them 10 minutes rather then supplying their viewers with awesome things.

You Want to Prevent Bad Things from Getting on the Reel?

All day, well, most days, I see people complaining why are bad things are on the reel. Sometimes, they say it's the system. They say it's the system that controls what gets on the reel or not. Sometimes, they say it's moderators putting their friends on the reel (somehow), or often times than not, they complain that they can't get on the reel because of moderators not liking them.

You want to know the truth about bad things getting on the reel. It's friends. I don't want to be prude about this, I mean that's what friends are for, but sometimes friends got to know when not to diamond things. If you don't want to be the laughing stock of the PMC community, don't post crap things and make your friends diamond them. Then, once you get on the popular reel others comment on why it's there since it's bad.

There is one way and one way only to get on the reel: It's basically the amount of diamonds you can get in a short amount of time. I don't want to hear any other way since it's not true; it's basically calculated on diamonds (it's the fastest way of something to get on the reel). Other times it CAN be views and such, but often times than not it's diamonds.

The thing I want to encourage is to subscribe to those who deserve it. If they deserve your subscription their worthy of posting more quality content, and you (the user) are encouraging them to post more awesome things. Keep being awesome!

That's all I got, for this little rant.

If you like it, please diamond, favorite, and most of all subscribe for more content!

Please do not repost this anywhere else on the web without my consent, thank you.

Without the wonderful people on here, I wouldn't of been this far.
And I made the mistake of subscribing to friends too many times, I used to be subscribed to almost 500 people, un-subscribed to get rid of the crap in my inbox :3

Well, awesome blog as always~

Yeah, I unsubbed to a lot of people too. I meant no hard feelings, it's just that it was pointless to subscribe to someone who had no content ;P
