Why Endermen don't like being looked at

Hi, I'm and mobatoligist, And today I'm studying endermen.
I figured out that endermen are the #1 mob who is picked on. Zombies laugh at them, and Skeleton's shoot at them, Also pig men squeal at them.And they've been stared at allot so when you stare at them they get P.O'ed at you.So please I ask of you, DO NOT STARE AT THEM!

I thought it was because they felt inadequate about not having a block, and didn't want to be seen, but then after getting a block, thought you would take it.
