Well I have an idea of what this green little creeper is.
Have you ever wondered why Creepers are green? I think they're actually PLANTS AND NOT ANIMALS!
Creepers may actually be based off a plant named Peat! It is a green moss that grows. Does it expplodde? I hear you asking. Yes, actually it DOES. It explodes to spread it's spores! Peat disperses spores through the wind. To accomplish this, the capsule holding the spores builds up air pressure before exploding and launching the spores high in the air. It's a method very similar to a popgun! The air is sqeezed into a tight space before erupting all at once. The hissing sound comes from the pockets of air slowly leaking out of the capsule just before the time of the explosion. It creates a vortex ring. Kinda like a mushroom cloud from a nuclear bomb. This vortex ring allows Peat to launc it's spores at an incredible speed for such a SMALL plant! It launches the spores at up to 65 mph! In less then a thousandth of a second! NOW THAT IS A FAST DISCHARGE. And think about it, this plant is only a couple centimeters high! Now scale that up 30 times to Creeper size. Which is roughly 3 meters. You have an explosion going from 0 to 1,950 mph, in a fraction of a second!!! Peat is can actually be used to make batteries, which explains the charged creeper! Also, Creepers drop gunpowder. Peat creates a type of charcoal sulpher when it explodes! Notch described their skin as dried crunchy leaves, too. And the texture resembles a plant.
Thank you guys for viewing! I'm back from vacation so expect more blogs!
