Hey guys! Today, I'm going to talk about blocks that are completely useless, annoying or even disturbing blocks/items in Minecraft.
Block/Item #1: Gravel
Any players that have mined deep down for at least twenty minutes know that gravel is SO ANNOYING AND USELESS! Gravel is like sand, but doesn't look as good and sand doesn't spawn in caves. Gravel forces you to dig out more than you want to. Sure, it can be an indicator of a good ore and it gives you flint, but you're better off looking in a cave, ravine or lava cave. Plus, gravel has no crafting use or use for anything really, and it just hogs up inventory space. Also, gravel can fall on you and suffocate you. Out of the three blocks/items I'm talking about today, gravel is probably the worst.
Block/Item #2: C418 - 11
When you find a dungeon, you are eager to open up the rewards. Sometimes you get a music disc. Sometimes it's this one. If you'd like to make a haunted house this could be useful, but otherwise, it is very disturbing. It sounds like a man somewhere running and panting with creepy sounds mixed in. Then, he lights a fire, and starts coughing, its sounds being echoed. Then he starts running again, on stone then dirt and then some demon like sounding creature gets him. Finally, you here some beeps, then nothing. Why, Notch? Why?
Block/Item #3: Rotten Flesh
Rotten flesh is a horrible food item. First, the name. Secondly, rotten flesh will replenish your food bar a little once eaten, but you will get a hunger buff and you'll lose what you got from it, and maybe even more. It's kind of like saying, "I just ate something that replenishes my hunger by -1 point." At least spider eyes take away your health instead of food, and not too much of it. Only on rare occasions will rotten flesh have a good effect.
There are a few more other blocks/items that are like these, but these blocks are the worst in my opinion. If you agree or liked this blog post, please diamond. Thanks for reading!
