Boy has there been a lot to cover the last couple of weeks. This week is no different. This week we have the Mob Vote answers, Minecraft Live, and a host of other PMC related happenings! Let's begin!
Minecraft Live is a yearly event that showcases what will be in the next Minecraft update. This year we saw a host of things like new tuff building blocks--including the basic family of bricks, chiseled bricks and we may be able to even get tile or pathway blocks. What's more these blocks all generate naturally within a new structure called Trial Chambers. These chambers found underground and are home to Trial Spawners. These spawners spawn monsters, but only up to a certain amount. They spawn mobs regarding the player count, local difficulty and a multitude of other variables.
We also see a fancy new copper based light source--perhaps working similarly to a redstone lamp--and a new chiseled version of copper. Copper also has door and trapdoor versions shown, Something I think we needed long ago.
Auto-crafting has been in mods for years, and many arguments have started on if it is something needed in the base game. Now Mojang has decided to add them in the 1.21 update. This has been well-received despite players' initially arguing over the concept. It's quite vague how this will function, but it is likely to do with redstone. There's a rather redstone feeling theme to the update.
On Bedrock edition there's the marketplace. There seems to have been some kind of leak regarding a battlepass. One that would be similar to the one from MCD perhaps? It's extremely unclear--likely because it wasn't meant to be leaked yet. A tweet from a developer reads; "Marketplace Pass is a subscription offer with unlimited access to 150+ great Minecraft worlds, texture packs, skin packs, and mash-ups for one low monthly price."
There are two mobs that have been mentioned. These are The Breeze and the Mob Vote winner, The Armadillo. The Breeze seems to be similar to a Blaze. But it uses wind instead of fire. The armadillo is able to be killed, and its shell can be a good armour for wolves. It is also the only mob to be exclusive to the savannah biome.
Although the war involving the GME was over, it seems the leader, Emperor Totenkriegstein III, has gotten bored and decided to wage war. His wall post reads; "I'm bored! Maybe we'll start a war with someone, any ideas?" I do my best to be completely unbiased whilst writing these newspaper blogs, but I think that I should give some two cents and say that boredom isn't a great ground to start a full-on war, especially when the last war was only a week ago. CrystalRuby agrees that a war would be good.
An account by IGEBM says that the Dark Alts are alive and are allied with the GME. The Dark Alts are evil alternate accounts of good users. Examples are people like DarkRob333 and maaaayyybbeee you could count Villager since he is an alternate and antagonistic version of illager.
It is time. The players of Minecraft have finally assembled to get rid of the Mob Vote. No one ever was really happy with these votes, it seemed. Ever since the controversy of Dream "rigging" the 2019 vote--and the phantom winning for that matter--people have been somewhat infuriated by the votes. Now after years of begging for it to stop passively, they have started a band that hopes to force the end of these votes. Players have made international news and are using edited Soviet propaganda in hopes of making Mojang end the votes completely. Mojang has given the players a silent treatment and has yet to comment on the situation.

2. Dream is really famous but his fans should select for themselves their skin and their vote
...*USSR anthem starts playing*
...*It gets louder*
*It's playing louder than ever and you see...*
Also, the alliance is called the Evil Internationale
And Emperor Wither Storm assured me that no one would be starting a war
