heyooo, sorry this part is out so close to angels story but i couldnt wait any longer since i just found the thing i wrote the story on. (go read angels story)
Again from Halo's perspective.
Dinner ended. I went outside. I sat on that mountain for the entire evening. Tonight was when we had to go into town. I had seen the patterns. Tonight was the night they planned to take me. Again I had told no one. Not even my sister. She didn't need to worry. She wasn't going to be taken. I knew each of them. Each of the ten boys, Each of those being taken by the Endermen. Not personally. I knew no one personally. I myself was my only friend.
The bell rang. I stood and numbly began walking. Harper caught up with me. She matched her pace with mine. No words passed between us. She understood the danger.
We reached the town. The streets were full of people. Even so, it was dead silent. The majority of people here were too young. Too immature. The rest were too old. Too sick. None of these people should be forced to work. None of them should stay and starve either. I pushed to the front of the crowd. The nine other too-be-picked boys did the same. I had organized this as a form of revolt. We were strong and ready to leave. An exceptionally tall Enderman appeared out of thin air.
The king.
Every Enderman had different particle shapes and patterns. The king’s particles were shaped as daggers and fell like rain. He was all around a dangerous person. He held up a book and a quill. Then he began calling names. Each of the nine boys I had planned for were called. As expected. As normal. Then the king looked at me. He said my name. Slowly. Deliberately. I stepped forward and a guard grabbed me. He teleported away. With me. The sensation of being teleported was painful. I had passed out by the time it was over.
there we go, thats all for now :)
